BRITANNIA THEATRE.
The Japanese earthquake is vividly described at the Britannia Theatre daily by Mr. Michael Shaijiin, a journalist on the staff of the ""Japan Advertiser," the largest English newspaper in Tokio. Mr. Shathin's talk is illustrated with lantern slides made from ■ ■ photographs which he took himself at the time and by a special film taken immediately after the disaster. Mr. Shathin lectures at both afternoon and evening sessions, and will not appear at any other theatre during his stay in Wellington. "Souls for Sale," adapted from Rupert Hughes's famous story, is also being screened.
