PABIS, 2nd December. Over one hundred bodies of German soldiers were found in a tunnel dug during the battle of Verdun. The tunnel, which contains a complete plant for manufacturing mineral water such as was supplied to the German troops, extends from the** Mort Homme Hill to Bethencourt village. The theory is that the Germans were surprised and suffocated m a gas attack.
