VISITED BY MR. WILFORD.

(Received 28th November, 11.30 a.m.) SINGAPORE, 27th November. . Mr. T. M. Wilford, M.P., visited the site of the naval base--in Johore Strait, and inspected the aerodrome site on.the foreshore and the eastern approaches. The oil fuel installation now consists of thirty-two tanks, each with a capacity of 11,000 tons. The filling of the tanks with fuel from Abadan, in the Persian Gulf, is rapidly proceeding.
