DUNEDIN, This Day: A new locomotive of the W.A B type *h! u s>ith of an order for ten 'to be built at the Hillside workshops, has been completed. The numerous sections were loaded on to trucks last week-end and are now on the wharf awaiting shipment to Auckland. These locomotives which are of the combination tank type are for use on the Auckland section of the Railway Service. Two are already in use, one on the- Main Trunk line while one was shipped to Auckland by the steamer Wmgatui about two months a K o. The total weight of the engine when assembled is seventy-one tons. It will be shipped to Auckland by the Wingatui this week, and will be assembled at the I* ewmarket_ Workshops. The seventh locomotive is now under construction at the Hillside Workshops. It will be completed ear y in the New Year, and «-il! be assembled and given a trial over the branch lines here before being shipped to Auckland. *c
