TWO BOMB EXPLOSIONS

It is reported from Philadelphia that bombs exploded at the Italian and Spanish Consulates. The police suspect foreign Radicals, and it is believed that the attacks were directed against the Consuls personally; but both escaped injury. Many people were hurled from their beds and wounded by flying glass. The Italian Consul-General found a bos in the vestibule of the Consulate. He notified the police, believing that it was an innocent package which someone had left, and for which the owner would return. He tool; it inside, and then, in anticipation of the onwer returning, placed it outside again. After he had retired ther was a terrible explosion, and the entile front of the house was blown out. As the result of the explosions, the police are guarding the homes of the Mayor, the Judges, and the chief city officials.
