BUT GOOD WICKETS AT AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, 25th November. The oricket matches were played in boisterous weather yeßterday, and on good wickets. University in the first innings made 50 (Kelly not out 28). Grafton in the first innings made 167 (Alcott 79, Snedden 26, Horspool 23). For Grafton, Alcott took seven wickets for 21, and for University, Taylor took five for 38 and tJoodwin three for 24. North Shore, in the ' first innings, scored 401 against Eden (Frater 43, C. Dacre 41, Scott 73, Woodroffe 70, Nettleton 36). Bowling for Eden, Cooper took five wickets for 120 and Mills two for 75. Against Parnell, Ponsonby scored 372 for six wickets (Burton 104, Smith 103, Snedden 39, Basa not out 33, Nield not out 31).
