ISSUE OF 5½ DEBENTURES BY HOSPITAL BOARD

The Wellington Hospital Board is inviting applications for the issue of £50,000 worth of debentures, maturing m ten years, bearing interest at 5i per cent, per-annum. This is stated-to be undoubtedly the best of gilt-edged security. Interest at the rate of £5 10s per cent, per annum will be paid from the date of receipt of the application by equal half-yearly instalments, on the sixteenth days of January and July in each year. Interest is payable and principal repayable free of exchange at any branch of the Bank of New Zealand in New Zealand. Fractional interest at 5£ per cent, per annum will be paid from date or receipt of application by the board to the next half-yearly interest date. All debentures of this issue will mature on 20th January, 1934. Each application must be accompanied by cash or cheque for the full amount of debentures. Interim receipts will be given for such deposits. All applications are to be addressed to the secretary of the Hospital Board, General Hospital, Wellington. Early application is necessary, as inquiries ttave ilroiidy bean received.
