CHRISTCHURCH, 23rd Nov.

A verdict, of death from pernicious anaemia was returned at an inquest on Alfred James Wright, who fell out of a sulky on the Heathcote training track. The medical evidence was that Wright had been a sufferer from anaemia, for a long time, and that' the fall, in which he turned a complete somersault, being struck on the face and rendered unconscious, had aggravated the complaint.
