0n;7 7 GlPsy Smith was lunching at the National Liberal Club with a little group of friends and was telling us some of his remarkable experiences at some missuon he had been conducting in tho Midlands The late Rev. Thoma, Law, the secretary of tho National Free Church Council, was one' of the party. So was Sir Henry Holloway and the Rev. Silvester Home. One of the old waiters, a veteran, who is forgiven many liberties, was f«™ n S at our table. On his way to the kitchen he passed another waiter; and in a far-travelling whisper remarked "I've got a blooming Bible claw at my table."
