A returned soldier, George Crocker, aged 38, who' was badly shattered by his 1 war experiences', and was suffering from a nervous breakdown, left his home at Springlands without warning on 28th August last, and there has been no word of him since. The efforts of the police ■ and private inquiries have failed to trace his. whereabouts. When he left, home lie was wearing a black suit and bbols and a dark felt hat. His height is sft 9in. He/is of slight build, with brown eyes, dark hair, and a sallow complexion.
