"THE KEWPIE CURE FOR GLOOM."
One of the twenty-one scenes in "The Jtewpie s Fairyland" at the Wellington Town Hall, from Ist to 11th December, will be the Lake Fairies, gracefully poised on water-lilies. "Other scenes will show the Blue Fairies packing little baskets of flowers for sick people'; the Moonbeam Fairies dnncing around mushrooms : the Pink and Blue Fairies in a be.autiful tiny boat, drawn over a pool of water by white swank (moved by electric current); the Weeping Fairies, saddened by news of children's naughtiness; the Moonlight Fairies ready with little, lamps to guide Father Christmas on his way to places where children are eagerly expecting his gifts. There will be plenty of other fairies, pixies, and brownies, all prettily arranged and charmingly posed. "Sure cure for gloom,' is the Kewpie claim.
