SHORTT'S PICTURES.
(c apert, Hughes is the author of Gimme," the latest film story showing at Shortt'a Theatre to-day. The heroine of "Gimme" borrows £100 to buy a trousseau, and it proves a debt difficult#to settle after marriage, and leads to many difficult and humorous situations. Helene Chadwick is the star, and is supported by Gaston Glass, H. B. Walthall, Eleanor Boardman, Kate Lester, and others. The , second, feature, "Flames of Passion," is a thrilling story of an Oregon lumber camp, with all its "bad?" men and adventurous doings. Every scene was actually filmed in the district it is intended; to represent. George Larlrin occupies the stellar role, and is supported by Ruth Stonehouse, Lura Anson, Frank Whitson, Al. Ferguson, Frank Whitlock, and Karl Silvera. A special musical programme hae been prepared for the occasion.
