All keen lovers of sounder classics will be pleasurably anticipating the performance at the Town Hall to-morrow night of Elgar's "King Olaf," to be "given under, the baton of Mr. Temple White by the Royal Wellington Choral Union, lne oratorical cantata partakes of the qualities of both oratorio and cantata Mr. White's knack of getting the best out of his chorus is as well known as the care he takes that the choral parts shall be perfectly sung by the hundreds who have revelled in chorus work under his baton. Mr. White never slums his work, and the result is that one can always look for a certain degree of finish, in all that is produced under his supervision. The solists. are: Soprano, Miss Ethel Osborn; tenor, Mr. Hubert Carter; baritone, Mr. William Watters. lne final rehearsal, will bo held at the iown Hall this evening.
