A 50yds race in the Perrett Shield competition was decided by the Olympic Swimming Olub yesterday. The result was as follows:—First heat: Cox. 6sec, 1; Evans, 3sec, 2; Adams, 4soc, 3. Time, 32 3-5 aoc. Mecond heat: Salk, 3aec, 1; Bocook, 3sec, ; Barrett, 4sec, 3. Time, 33sec. Final: Cox, 1; Evans, 2; Bocock, 3. Time, 31sec.
