UPPER HUTT SITTING.

The monthly sitting of the Upper Hutt Magistrate's Court was held oh Wednesday before Mr. C. E, Orr-Walker

Robert Bi-ow n pleaded guilty to two charges of using insulting language to a guard on .Upper Hutt trainband also behaving m an offensive manner m a railway carriage. He was convicted and discharged on the gecond charge and fined £2, with 28s cost*, on the first charge. W. J. Williamson/for allowing pl gß to wander on a publio road, was fined 10s, with costs 28s Mrs A. L. Cole was granted a separation order against her husband, Horace Cole (known as Renshaw), and guardianship of her own child, but not of her stepclnldren. The question of maintenance was left for future proceed.ng a if defendant fails to. maintain complainant meantime.
