MANGAHAO SCHEMES
A notice in the "Gazette" states that two i pieces of land, of a total area of three acres, have been taken by tha Public Works Department for the 'development of the Mangahao waterpower. The land is at Mangamaire near Pahiatua, and is to be used for the erection of a sub-station. The Acting-Prime Minister (the Hon Sir Francis Bell) and the Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. R. F. Bollard) are visiting Mangahao to-day.
