His application for copy of the roll 'was refused by the Minister of Agriculture, though it is understood thei roll has been iSBUed to the "ticket." The Minister has been advised that a writ will be issued if a refusal is persisted in.
When the matter was referred this afternoon to the Minister of Agriculture (the Hon. W. Nosworthy) he said he had received a telegram from Mr. Cobbe, but the matter was one for the Electoral Department, and he had referred it to the officials of that office. He knew nothing about the ißsue of a writ.
