ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
A very satisfactory examination in first-aid work was passed by the 25 police probationers who sat at the Wellington Training Depot recently, many of the candidates gaining very high, percentages of marks. At the Hawera and Patea women's first-aid classes, the 13 > and 11 candidates respectively all passed. The 11 members of, the home nursing, class for women at the Taita gained their certificates; as also did the men's first-aid class of seven students at thf same place. ' -
