BROKEN HILL MINES
FALL OF GROUND RELEASES GAS.
(Received 7th November, 2 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. It is reported from Broken Hill that a big fall of ground occurred in the Central Mine on Sunday, thus forcing gas into the south mine. A number of miners finishing their shifts yesterday complained of headaches, which are believed to be due to gas.
