COPPER COMPANY'S FAILURE

ADELAIDE, 2nd November. ,The shareholders of the Mallaroo Moonta Jlining and Smelting Company have agreed to its voluntary liquidation. The assets are set down at £305,000 liabilities at £171,000. It was stated that the chief cause of the step was ■ that copper was now being produced at a loss of £18 per ton. ' The seconder of the motion attributed the company's position to Labour agitators making" it impossible to carry on profitably, but said that they had chosen the * wrong company lot their effort*.
