AUCKLAND, This Day. The Auckland Spring Meeting opened in fine weather. The track is fast. Following are results:—
Trial Hurdles, of 400 soys; two milek and -a half.—Silverton, 10.1, 1; Royal Fame, 9.0, 2; Daddy's Girl, 9.10, 3. Scratched: Pine Arch and Danton. Won by two lengths. Time, 2min 49 l-ssec. Great Northern Guineas, of 1500 soys ; onei mile.—Miss Egypt, 8.5, 1; Pelham, 8.10, 2; Queen March, 8.5, 3. Scratched: Blackeyed Susan and Muria. Won by a head. Time, lmin 39 3-ssec.
