LONDON, 31st October. The Conference was largely occupied to-day with the consideration of com-' rnittee reports and tlie Indian question. With regard t.o the latter, the Indian delegates are well satisfied with the Australian and New ZeaTand side of the Pjoblem. They recognised the right or^ the Dominions to exclude further admissions, and felt that they could rely on fair and honourable treatment to those who already have permanent domicile in the Pacific Dominions. Thus it is only with SouthVAfrica that the grievance remains acute.
