The political crisis has become acute, owing to the submission. of a series of demands to Herr Stresfemann by the Socialist Parliamentary Party after it had conferred for seven hours. The party resolved that it will only remain in the Coalition if its requests are conceded. It demands the abolition of the state of emergency j that the Government shall adopt stronger measures against BaVaria; that it will lay down that tha maintenance of order in Saxony is a/police task; and that the Nationalists who recently joined the Reichswehr must be di*mi«sed immediately. Andther resolution dealt with the stabilisation of the currency, and the compulsory sale of foodstuffs by farmers. A reply is required by to-morrow.
