Golden Light did half a mile in 52sec, and Royal Star and Jazz, five furlongs in lmin ssec. Most of * the other horses were' connned to half and three-quarter pacing, while a number only did trotting and cantering. To-day's arrivals from the North were Pnntemps, Tanadees, Stream, and La Reve.
