WHEN THE 05 SANK
YOUTH'S HEROIC ACTION,

The sinking of submarine 05 at Panama oh Sunday was marked by the heroic action of a. youth named Henry Breault, who was on deck. He could have saved himself. Instead,- he leaped to the manhole and slammed the hatch, imprisoning four others with himself. They were imprisoned for fifteen hours before the submarine was raised, and suffered intensely from the air pressure, which was increased by a fire which followed the explosion of the batteries. Breault, and an electrician named Brown,' were rescued. The other three were dead.
