PRISONERS SENTENCED
(BT TELEGRAPH.—FRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, 31st October. In the Supreme Court, John Charles Colcord was sentenced to three years' reformative detention for indecent assault in a picture theatre. The sentence will start from the commencement of a two years' reformative term how being served for a similar recent offence. Hone Rehana Ruka,' a Maori was sentenced to five years' reformative detention for attempted rape of a Maori girl, aged 10, in the Whangarei district. . "
