CAPETOWN, 31st October. In view of the widespread interest in the discovery of the insulin treatment lor diabetes, it is noteworthy that for several years the disease has 'been treated in Natal by a simple and inexpensive herbal remedy, with remarkable results. ihe herb used is vinca, a white-flowered plant, fairly common in Natal. A Durban doctor states that he has used this remedy several times with complete success. The statement is confirmed by one of his patients, who was cured after ten months of the treatment.
