ASSASSINS IN SOFIA
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPTRIGHT.) (AUSrRAMAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received Ist November, 1 p.m.) SOFIA, 31st October. An ex-Minister, Dr. Nicholas Ghendadieff, accompanied by M. Guechoff, Bulgarian ex-Minister in Berlin, were attacked during the night, while returning home. Ghendadieff was killed, and Guechoff seriously wounded. The assassins escaped.
