SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
The continued; applause of the seafaring, guests of Mrs. Archie Wilson at the Sailors' Friend Society last evening testified to their thorough enjoyment of,the evening's pleasure. The performers were Mrs. A. Wilson, Misses Allen, J. Banks, Miller, Neilson, E: Purdie, Willougliby, H. Faricourt, A. M'Donald, Messrs. Baker, Prince, Vincent, P. Wilson, and Master N. Glover.'. Mrs. Wilson and Misses ' Willoughly . were at the piano. Mr. J. Moore, missioner, s spoke on ''Wots and Drrs " in relation to temperance, pledges- following. The' com-: petition prizes * came "from Mrs. Glovei and the hostess, and went to the Mahana and.other ships. ■
