Joseph Thomas Christie, awaiting trial on a charge of breaking and entering the premises of the Otago Farmers' Coop..at Dunedin and Mosgiel, pleaded guilty this morning to a charge of escaping while lawfully confined, and was committed for sentence The evidence on^tn nf u aCCU- Sed Unlocked his «*« on Bth October in the early morning with an ingeniously constructed key ™c I 1 wires bound with a strip of blanket. He was caught near the railway station within a few ruinutes.
