BYLAW OFFENCES
A number of bylaw cases were dealt with at the Magistrate's Court by Messrs. J. W. Ellison and A. Longmore, Justices of the Peace, yesterday, as follows :— lan Duncan and Frank Stewart were fined 10s and costs, and Newman Coffey 5s and costs, for leaving vehicles unattended for longer than the time allowed under the statute. For failing to provide adequate lighting to his vehicle, Francis Charles Holmes was fined 10s and costs on each oi two pair of charges; John Baptist Moore, 10s and costs; Buzzicott Rawdon, 10s and costs; Richard Kemp, 20s and costs, and costs only on eaoh of two charges; Nola Odlin, 20s and costs; Albert Hughes, 10s and costs; Anthony Jackson, 10s and costs, and costs only on each, of two charges; Charles Livingstone 10s apd costs; "W. F. Marris, 10s and costs, and costs 7s on each of two charges. Driving on the wrong side of the road cost William Cithroe 10s and costs, and for a similar offence Frederick Christenson was obliged to forfeit 10s and costs. For driving a taxi without a license Hubert C. B. Hodgkinson was fined costs only. Frederick M'Cormish for driving past a, stationary tram at'a greater speed than four miles an hour was fined 5s and costs. William Andrews was fined 20s and costs for leaving a horse unattended. For allowing stock to wander, J. Feeley was fined £1 and costs; Frederick Kilmiuster, £1 and costs; Ernest E. Lewer, £1 and costs, and William Telford, £1 and costs.
