LODGE MEETINGS

The bi-monthly meeting- of Wellealey Lorge. No. 7 (Juvenile Branch), 1.0.0. F., N.Z., was held in Southern Cross Hall, Courtenay Place, last week, Bro. R. Meech, N.G., presiding. There was a good attendance of juvenile members, and after dispatching business, a competition game was conducted, Bros. Boyd and Glengarry winning first and second prizes respectively. Cole/ N.G., presiding. After completing essential business, including nomination of two lady candidates, the lodge entertained members of the Order, and their friends at a . social evening. F., N.Z., held its fortnightly meeting at St. Thomas's schoolroom, Newtown, last Thursday evening Sister R. Finch, N.G., presiding. In addition to other business, six lady candidates were nominated. The CD. G.M. and other District Executive officers attended for the purpose of conducting the election of a L.D.D.G M *or this district. Two Rebekah P.N.G. s were nominated. Bro. Bain spoke on lodge matters, and urged the member* to attend all maetinge regularly and take an interest jn the ritual. Bro. Martia gave an interesting account of the various branches in New Zealand, their financial and membership positions, and. congratulated them on their work during the last quarter. Bro. J.
