BOXING CONFERENCE

THE OLYMPIC GABIES.

The question of New Zealand's representation at the Olympic Games was the first matter discussed when the Centre Boxing Conference Tesumed yesterday afternoon.

Mr. Bush said the feeling of the Auckland enthusiasts was that C. Purdy should certainly be sent away, while Mr. Atack remarked that the southern people pinned thoir faith to a flyweight named Leckie. .

The opinion was expressed by Mr Aldndge that a trainer would need to be sent, and this, of course, would not ,be worth while unless at least four boxers made the trip. C. M'Rae was a likely heavyweight, who might be considered.

It was.decided to continue to have representatives on the Olympic Council.
