LABOUR CARNIVAL
On Friday and Saturday next the Labour Party are holding ft grand fancy dress carnival.and sale of work in the Skating Rink, Vivian street. The programme indicates that both days will be crowded with fun, and enjoyment. Ten stalls have been erected. These will be stocked with good things. Many new and novel side-shows have been arranged. A vJucky baby competition is included, and the children's Tancy dress function on Saturday afternoon should be worth going miles to see. On Friday and Saturday evenings a real carnival spirit is to be introduced. Good prizes will be given for best dresses and the music will Be the best obtainable. The great spider web is a great piece of work, and the unravelling should create much fun and excitement. ' • ■
