POISONOUS LIQUOR
WOOD ALCOHOL AND FUSEL OIL.
NEW YORK, 13th October. A message from Pana, Illinois, states that six men died and three are nearly dead as a result of drinking poisonous liquor, which they obtained from an establishment ostensibly licensed to vend only soft drinks. Fusel oil and wood alcohol were the poisons which caused death, according to a Coroner's verdict. All the victims were men of family, and included the son of the proprietor of the establishment..
