MADRID, 13th October. A wedding bell at the marriage of Raquel Martinez was the death knell of her rejected lover, Vicente Ruiz. When the hride entered the chirrch, Ruin climbed the steeple, and making a nocse in the bell-rope, placed it round bis neck, and leaned over the rail lo oUsin a .view of the altar. When tho priest raised his hands in blessing, Ruiz sprang, arid the bell clanged a*, he dropped. He hung suspended at the end of the rope, and the congregation scattered in horror. The bride fainted
