HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.

Bright vaudeville and attractive revue are said to be the features of the new programme at His Majesty's Theatre, which will be presented for the first time this evening. The George Wallace Revue Company, which has just completed a twelve weeks' season in Dunedin, will make its initial appearance in a musical farce, ." Off to Honolulu." • <ll A ' known in Australia as the Charlie Chaplin of vaudeville," is a splendid dancer and a .talented comedian; also a versatile writer of comedy sketches and eongs. In general he is looked upon as an ideal leader of a very happy band, which includes Marshall Crosby, Keg. Collins, Tom Lincoln, Nellie Hal, Hilda Gifford, Bebe Scott, Jack White, Alma Stewart, Kitty Solomons, Ivy Williams, Lily Alroy, and Edie Vaux. Marie St. St. George and Co. will be seen in the vaudeville section of the programme in a novelty act ■" The Awakening of Galatea." What'appear to be some beautiful pieces of statuary are shown, but in reality these are leally eleven postures by Miss St. George and members of her company. De Car, an acrobatic waiter,. and Eric Masters, a talented baritone vocalist, are among the newcomers, while Les Martin, the jazz specialist, who was so popular last week, remains on the lastest bill. A record house on Saturday bade reluctant farewell to the Stiffy and Mb Revue Company, which, after its season of thirteen weeks in Wellington, is proceeding to Dunedin. Members of the company were, handed gifts of appreciation, and the scene at the close of the performance was a memorable one. Flowers, chocolates, parcels, baskets', dolls, etc., were delivered from admirers, and many humorous incidents were noted in the nature of some of the presents. Messrs. Roy Rene (Mo) and Nat Philips (Stiffy) made brief speeches, and the company and crowded audience joined in the singing of " Auld Lang Syne. It was a fitting farewell to a remarkable season.
