Wellington Club officially opened its season. The opening was declared by Mr. F. Grady, president, who welcomed visitors, and , thanked members for once again honouring him by electing him president. He spoke in reminiscent terms of the progress of the game over a: period of many years in Wellington, and on the clianges in fashion in the game, the most noticeable of which was the change in racquets.
