LONDON, 12th October. The Duke and Duchess of York, while motoring to the Guildhall from Richmond to attend the conferring of the Freedom of the City on the Premiers, was involved in an alarming collision at Fulham. The horses in a Drawer's dray bolted and dashed into the Royal car, smashing a glass panel alongside the Duke, but without injuring the occupants. The impact smashed a shaft of the dray. A bystander seized the reins and prevented further) damage. The Duke alighted and assisted a policeman to take notes of tho details of the accident. The Duchess, startled by the collision, peered anxiously' from the window, but, reassured by .the Duke, resumed her seat, and the" car drove off.
