IMPEACHMENT OF GOVERNOR.

NEW YORK, 11th October. At Oklahoma, the State Legislature met to-day to consider the : impeachment of the Governor, Mr. J. C. Walton, as the result of his.declaration of martial law in his fight against the. Ku Klux Klan "to save the State from disaster because of the secret organisations which must be killed, or government will give way to anarchy and revoltion." Martial law, which has been effective since 15th September, was lifted by the Governor's proclamation to-day. .
