. Harry Wills, the negjo heavyweight, knocked out Homer Smith in the second round of a 15-rourid bout.
Last August, Homer Smith fought Luis Firpo, and the Argentinian was unable to knock him out, though winning on points. Smith is reckoned to. be only a third-rate heavy-weight, and by no means in the first flight of borers. For over a year now Wills has been seeking a match with Jack Dempsey, world's heavyweight champion, but han bean unabU to secure a mutch wing lo various obsUclM.
