FIRE IN MANNERS STREET
At a few minutes past 9 p.m. yesterday a fire was detected in the premises of the Paragon Tailoring Company, Manners street, the property being that of Mr. W. Cocoran, Adelaide roaa. The fire brigade, made a prompt respqnse, and quickly suppressed the outbreak, which appeared to have occurred near a gas meter at the rear of the premises. A fairly considerable amount of damage was done to stock by fire and water.
