AUCKLAND, 11th October.
Edward Bourne, aged 40, an accountant, was committed for sentence to-day on three charges of forging and uttering cheques for £'J'22 18s lOd in the name of his employer, John Buchanan, bookseller. Accused gtatbd that he had got behind in payments on his house and. took the money to enable him keep up the payments.
