NOMINATIONS FOR APPEAL BOARD.
To remove possible misapprehension ■through the publication to-day of 1 an incorrect statement regarding the selection of nominees of the N.Z. Returned Soldiers' Association in. -connection y/itti -n-ar pensions, it has been pointed out to The Post" that the nominations relate to the War Pensions Appeal Board, and not to Hie War Pensions Board, as published. The nominations to the Appeal Board are as follow:—Auckland district: Dr. AY. C. M'Caw. Wellington: Dr. F, 1 Bowerbank. Canterbury: Dr. A. J Orchard: Otago^ Dr. T. Fergus. Southland : Dr. E. H. Hogg. To save/Qic State expense in travelling expenses, it has been decided instead nf nominating one-member to the board, to nominate one for «ach of the four main centres, and to ask the Government to accept a fifth,'-and'to a«k that Southland be declared a, district for that -purpose.
