Christchurch; commended, Gladys Anderson, Christchurch; landscape in colour, Marion Tylee, Christchurch; modelled head from life, Aileen Palmer, Weliingtor ; modelled head from antique, Maxibel M'lntyre; jnodelled figure from antique, Maribel M'lntvre; jewellery or metal work, Margaret B'arkman, Wellington. Tha gold medal presented by Mr. Leslie J. Brabin for the best work in any of the above classes was awarded to Miss Marion Tylee, of Christchiirch. The judges of the competition were Mm. J. A. Tripe and Mr H. M. Gore.
