ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
At. the monthly meeting of the St. John Ambulance Association arrangements were made by a sub-committee to carry out a display in the Town Hall during Health Week. The Commercial Travellers' Club Choir will give a conceit in the Town Hall on Thursday, 18th October; in aid of the Building Fund. A sub-committee was set up io co-op-erate with the choir.. The report of the sub-committee on the rules and regulations of the Education Department for.C. and D. teachers on first aid, home nursing, aud Home hygiene, with recommendations, was r.eceived and approved and a deputation fixed to wait on the director of the Teachers' Training School. A vote of sympathy with Mrs. C. P. Powles and family on the .death of, Mr. C. P. Powles was passed, and his -long and valuable services to the association were placed oh record.
