RECENT ACCIDENT TO A CHILD
Such severe injuries were sustained by Laura Girling, the six-year-old daughter of Mr. \V. J. Girling, M.P.,, when.-she was run over by a tram-car which she fell off at Lyall Bay on' Friday, that one leg had to be. amputated. ; She :s now showing an improvement, after haying been in a serious condition since the accident. .■ : ; .,
