SOME GOOD SCORING.

An Otaki Golf Club team ol ten members paid a return visit to the Hutt Club on Saturday, but they were unable to wipe off the defeat that Hutt. inflicted on them earlier in the -season. The ■Otaki Club had intended to "bring down a much stronger team, but at tlie last moment several members were unable to make the trip. The weather was perfect for the occasion,'arid,.the Hutt links, in spite of the heavy' weather of the week, were in perfect order, except that the greens were not in the firstclass order of the previous week-end. Kirk, who is a member of both clubs, played for the visitors, and disposed of L. C. Hemery after a good fight at the sixteenth; hole.. The best win of the day was recorded by 0. Heketa, who played No. 3. Eeketa did the very fine round of 76, and won Bup and 6. The detailed results were as follow, Hutt names being first mentioned :— L. E. Carter beat F. Sievers, 7 and 6.
