LONDON MEETINGS
Th« second-meeting of Port Nicholson Encampment, No. 6, 1.0.0.F:, was held in Southern Cross Hall, Courtenay place on Monday evening, the Chief Patriarch (Bro. »O. T. Sullivan, P.D.D.G.MO siding. There was it good: attendance of members of the Encampment. . 'Congratulatory letters .on successful institution of the Encampment, branch in this district were received from the other New Zealand Encampments and Grand Lodge of Australasia, • Three members of the-Order were elected members of the incampment and initiated to the Patnai-chial Degree. One of the Encampment degrees will b« conferred when necessary:at each monthly meeting^ prior to which a regular instruction session will be held. ; ;
Cleveland Lodge, No. 13, 100 F N-Z-. held ite .fortnightiy. meetiig at AValdie's Hall, Brooklyn, Bro. C. Mason .N.G^ presiding. There was a good attendance. Prior to proceeding with essential business, the lodge recorded its severe loss since last- meeting by tho dca-th of the Jate Past Grand^!ro. F. Bradley and deep sympathy with the relatives 'in' their bereavement. Three candidates for membership wei'e nominated Zealaudia Lodge, No. 48, 1.0.0. F., 1N. 6., held a brjef nioeting on Thuisdav evening at St. Thomas' Schoolroom, Bro J. -F Miller, N.G., ■presiding. Three; candidates were nominated. After completing'neeesaary business the lodge entertained members of the Order aad friends at a social orening. Thore wag a very large attendance and an enjoyable time was spent with dances, musical items, and competitions.
