CURTAIN-RAISER
Teams representing Wanganui and Wellington provided the curtain-raiser to the big match. The local men easily outclassed the visitors, defeating them lo the tune of 7 goals to nil. Goals for the winners were' scored^ by W. Hood and R, Lusty (2), D. Hood (2), and Stratton (2). Messrs. 'B* Ginger and W.: Keys were the referees. The teams were: — . •■'.'''
